Facility Maintenance Technicians Needed!

Our company is seeking a drywall specialist with experience in commercial construction. No certifications necessary, but Journeyman level experience. Our position is full time, allows consistent employment, and provides a great company culture. Room for growth and great work-life balance.

PAY: $15-$22

SHIFT: Monday – Friday

LOCATION: Metro Area and Downtown Portland

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

-Review design plans to minimize the number of cuts and waste of wallboard
-Determine the precise locations of electrical outlets, plumbing, and windows
-Cut drywall or ceiling tiles to the right size, using utility knives and power saws
-Fasten panels and tiles, using cement adhesive, nails, screws, or clips
-Patch, trim, and smooth rough spots and edges
-Apply tape and sealing compound to cover joints between wall boards
-Add coats of sealing compound to create an even surface
-Sand all joints and holes to a smooth, seamless finish

QUALIFICATIONS:

No Certs Needed
Journeyman level experience
Drywall Installation Experience/ Hanging and Taping
Finishing Experience
